  What makes us special?
Let us start by telling you how we achieve our promise. We start with understanding your immediate and long term needs. As an example, we meticulously evaluate:

• The size and type of vessel;
• Trading region and nature of her trade;
• Nature of her cargo;
• Types of main machinery, equipment and cargo gear;
• Your daily operational requirements;
• Your superintendent's maintenance requirements;
• Your crewing budgets;
• Your on-board quality management system;
• Specific crew requirements (ex. flag state regulations, etc.)

Information gathered from these factors helps us to mould the right combination of crew backgrounds, skills and qualifications for your vessel and its current trade. We put together a team who we expect will provide the optimum performance level…and the confidence and comfort that you must have.

Each applicant is evaluated for the following criteria:

• Qualification, training and consistency in service;
• Relevant experience;
• Physical and medical fitness;
• Past performance/references;
• Ability to communicate;
• Attitude;
• Approach to teamwork

We ensure that we only employ crews who you can have total confidence in as they navigate and operate your ship on the world's seas, waterways and ports.

Crew Training
With the help of various screening and training software, only those who have acceptable level of training are selected. The staff member who falls short is trained to acceptable standard before being considered. Reference software is used for updating the knowledge during the time when staff member is waiting for an assignment.

We train/re-train the crew at the institutes which satisfy our stringent standards and we use a combination of feedback from the ship and staff debriefing to evaluate the level of training required.

Crew Welfare
We realize that, by assuring a seafarer that we are always available to help in any way we can, the family at home in they may require assistance, improves the task focus of the seafarer.

As a policy, we ensure that everyone in the office considers the seafarers as part of the MRM family and renders the best assistance possible for their concerns.

We have a system of voluntary medical insurance for family and seafarers on leave that anyone can consult us with. This and our other initiatives mean that the effectiveness of our efforts manifests itself in a very high retention level of our staff and our seafarers.
